Trevor graduated from Red River College with a certificate for Electronic and Network Technician and a diploma in Network Technology (CCNP). Trevor is client focused and has a great sense of humour. He is a computer whiz and an excellent problem solver. He has built quite a legacy in personal computing and is now using the proceeds to make a difference in the world. Although society has demonstrated a love/hate relationship with Microsoft over the years, no one can deny that Gates has created a footprint on the World. Text Box: TIP OF THE DAY Text Box: We have talked before about our support of and work with Alpha House. This not-for-profit organization provides longer term homes for women and their children who have left abusive relationships. Families are welcome to stay at Alpha House for up to a year while they work through a healing process by participating in programs and counseling delivered right at the House. Alpha House knows there is hope for each family that moves in and that with enough support even greater strides can be made toward creating a community that embraces the empowerment of women and children. They are launching the ‘Live Life Empowered’ campaign at their Annual Dinner this year to build awareness and support. We’re on board to help and would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the Dinner.                 Alpha House is making a difference in our community and the individual success stories are inspirational. One such story is of a woman who moved into Alpha House with no hope for the future. She now has a home of her own, has regained a healthy relationship with her child and is working on a degree in Education. Another is of an 8 year old girl who came to Alpha House frightened, confused and angry. After working through counseling at the House she is now confident and free of the fear that something might happen to her mother. These stories are real and  demonstrate the positive change that can occur through helping one family at a time break the cycle of violence. We hope to see you at the dinner! Text Box: Late for Work Again... Tom had this problem of getting up late in the morning and was always late for work. His boss was mad at him and threatened to fire him if he didn't do something about it. So Tom went to his doctor who gave him a pill and told him to take it before he went to bed. Tom slept well and in fact beat the alarm in the morning by almost two hours. He had a leisurely breakfast and drove cheerfully to work. "Boss", he said, " The pill actually worked!"
